Distributed Control System in Power Plant Steam , DCS .
In general , in a power plant , process used is as follows :
A. Raw Material Transportation and Processingprepared in this process fuel and water for steam production materials . Usually dsebut Auxiliary system . Ranging from setting the carrier rail trains , conveyor belt scale , coal drying , ready to go into the feeder .
B. Combustion Boiler ( Pulverization of Coal / CFB )Boiler occurred in pebakaran which is the main process in Thermal Powerplant . Because the combustion process will affect the efficiency of generation , the amount of fuel used baan , the appropriate amount of combustion air to produce sufficient combustion ( lack of air can cause an explosion due pmbakaran fuel deposits , excess combustion air cause inefficient combustion ) . Will also set how much burning is required by its operating expenses .
C.Turbine ( Steam Turbine and Heat Recovery ) Monitoring and ControlIN turbine is also no less important , a DEH system is used as a safety system for the turbine when the fault condition is DEH ( Digital Electro Hydraulic ) System . And in some cases, turbine control is also used to set the frequency of the voltage to follow a voltage network .
D. Generator and Plant Electrical System Monitoring and ControlIn this process , we also have to control the Excitation Generator , as well as electrical pengaman2 , relays etc. .
E. Waste and Exhaust Treatmentin this process , carried out on the treatment of combustion such as gas desulphurization and slag transmission . NOx emission reduction is very important for the survival of a healthy nature .

DCS ( distributed control system) adalh an integrated system using the controller , communication protocols , and computers that can allow a user to control peraltan - equipment using both analog and digital signals from the control room . So , when we want to control a valve , not just on- off control , but also how such a large opening from 0 % -100 % we can do with ease .
